What is the PTA?
What is the PTA?
When your child starts at Eynsham Community Primary School, you become a part of the community of parents, carers, teachers, staff, and friends of the school known as the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).
The PTA exists to raise funds to enhance our children’s education, as well as to create connections between home, school, and the local community. Together we organize events, sales, fundraisers, sponsorship, donations, and more – as well as regular social gatherings.
The PTA is led by a small, hardworking committee elected at each year’s AGM, supported by our amazing volunteers who donate as much or as little of their time, ideas, and skills as they choose. We are also lucky to have the enthusiastic input of teachers and staff. The committee and volunteers are a friendly group and love welcoming new people, so please do join us at our meetings, volunteer for a committee or organizer role, let us have your ideas, and help champion our activities.
