British Council Internationals Award
Over the duration of the 2024-2025 academic year we will be working towards the accreditation award ran by the British Council.
It is ideal for schools that:
- work with international partner(s) on a range of projects throughout the school year,
- are embedding an international ethos and work across the whole school,
- share educational practice with partner(s) in other countries and implement changes across the school.
This level involves schools demonstrating their commitment to international education throughout the entire school, involving clear plans of activity and impact assessments to develop the quality of international education at your school.

Year 4 French Partnership School
We are very excited to announce that our year 4 team have begun an exciting journey with their new penpals in France. With the help of our lovely parent, Anna Parrinder, we have made a link with the staff in year 4/5 at Ecole Élémentaire Condorcet (Primary School), which is situated in Aubervilliers, around 10 minutes from the capital of Paris in the North East. We were super excited to receive our very first letters last week, where each of the 21 children have written to us to tell us all about themselves. We even received some delicious chocolate treats! Every child in year 4 looked at the school website, found the school on Google maps, looked at the school photo to learn all the children's names and read their wonderful letters which they have written in English. We then spent the morning writing letters back to our new friends, answering their questions and telling them about ourselves and what life is like at Eynsham Primary School. We also sent back some chocolate treats, which we hope our new friends will enjoy.
We are really excited to continue to build on our new partnership in the New Year, and we will keep you updated on what we get up to!
