Currently the Early Years Foundation Stage is organised into a Nursery Class (Robins) and two full-time Reception Classes (Owls and Kingfishers). Children from all three classes share purpose-built indoor and outdoor facilities. The number of children leaving the EYFS with a Good Level of Development has risen year on year, and we are proud of our nurturing and enriching environment.
From September 2017 the EYFS will be organised into two classes: one Reception Class and one Nursery/Reception Class (although children will mix within the setting).
Any child turning four between 1st September 2017 and 31st August 2018 is entitled to join our Nursery provision with our Foundation Stage either in September, January or April. We do not require any fees paid before the children start, but would like to meet you and to give you and your child/ren chance to visit the setting.
We are very proud of the progress that nursery-aged children make with us, and have a proven track record over a number of years of ensuring children are fully school-ready for their Reception year.
Children will be entitled to 30 hours nursery funding from September for working parents. Please use the link below to find out if you are eligible:
Alternatively, any parents or carers not eligible are able to top up their child’s funded 15 hours through paying the school accordingly.
If you would like to sign your child up for nursery education with us next year then please make an appointment to meet with me as soon as possible. The children learn well socially and academically involved in engaging age-appropriate experiences with reception-age children.
Prospective families are warmly invited to make an appointment to meet the Headteacher to visit our setting – simply contact the school office.
